Oh good, you’re still here. Awesome! Because as it turns out, this blog IS different. How? Why? Read on.
First off, my name is Cherie. Hi. My true love is reading. I read anything. And everything. Pretty much any book will do. Drama, true-life, mystery, comedy, action/adventure, chick lit, fantasy, zombie, fairy, vampire, young-adult. Oh yes, I even read kid’s books – Bobbsey Twins. Ramona. Mrs Piggle Wiggle. The Five Little Peppers. These are all quite enjoyable!
I’m not going to be delving deep into the books and commenting on plot lines or the building of characters. No, this is more about my visceral reaction to a book and whether it allowed the outside world to vanish as it sucked me in or if it just plain stunk. Basically, I’ll be recommending books or begging you to steer clear. Short and easy-to-read reviews…
This blog will act almost like a record of the books I read. Being a speed-reader, it will quickly fill with a number of books since I’m always and forever reading. Reading. Reading.
I hope that you’ll stick around and read a few reviews and come to the conclusion that this isn’t your typical, standard, oh-so-boring review blog. And maybe I can even encourage you to purchase or download some of the books that I review! Because that’s really my goal – to get others to enjoy reading as much as I do.
